Christopher Bulus, Nigeria’s only player on the ATP rankings, will be on a tour of Europe for eight weeks, Nigeria Tennis Live has gathered.

Bulus, one of Nigeria’s outstanding players at the African Games, is billed to kick off his Euro tour in Serbia from Monday, 8 April, 2024.

This piece of news was announced by the Tennis Innovators Academy (TIA), his academy in the US.

“ATP 1140 Chris Bulus will be touring Europe for the next 8 weeks looking for more ATP Points.

The US-based player who also helped Nigeria qualify for the Davis Cup Group III in 2023, is starting off with a $25k UTR event in Belgrade.

He told Nigeria Tennis Live that he will be starting the Euro tour in Serbia and cannot wait to get back on the court after the African Games.

“Yeah I feel good. I have just been waiting eagerly to just want to go out there and compete since the Games,” Bulus told Nigeria Tennis Live.

According to him: “There’s always a goal for every tournament one participates in.

“For me, every time I step on the court, I want to give my best and win my matches and see where that leaves me at the end of the day.

“I have my personal target, but I’m keeping that to myself and just focus on the games, instead.”

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep monitoring the player’s progress on the tour and report his development in the coming weeks.
