Nigerian Tennis Player Emerges Top 4 In National Mathematics Competition Organized In Akwa-Ibom

Godsmiracle Essien, a tennis player with the GEUF Tennis Academy, has emerged as one of the outstanding students at the recently held National Mathematics Competition in Akwa-Ibom State.

The nine-year-old who was also commended for during the regional TPPA-UTR tennis tournament held in 2023, was awarded for his academic brilliance as well during the event.

Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that the player is so brilliant that he predicts what he will score in examinations and comes out with exactly the same result.

In a brief chat with our correspondent, his coach Ubong Essien, noted that the youngster never disappoints, as he is always focused both on the court and with his academics.

He said: “The boy never disappoints anybody. If he says he will score distinction in his academics, that’s exactly what he returns with in his result.

“We are all very proud of him and this achievement. Everybody has been congratulating him on this recent competition where he came out among the top students”.

MD/CEO of Ibom Air and Patron of the GEUF Tennis Academy, Mfon Essien Udom, was so impressed with this new feat that he issued a congratulatory statement to celebrate the youngster.
