Oyinlomo Quadre has landed in the second consecutive final in a national tournament, after defeating senior player, Patience Onebhamhion in two sets at the semis match of the ongoing Dala Hard Court tournament in Kano state.

The youngster who got into the tournament as Nigeria’s number three will be hoping to win her second national tournament and top the log as Nigeria’s number one female tennis player.

Ahead of the tournament, she already mentioned how difficult it would be winning the competition, but she has found her way to the very last match now.

She takes on Anu Aiyegbusi in a very unusual final as the University of Port Harcourt graduate is playing in her first national tournament final.

Meanwhile, Joseph Imeh and Albert Bikom combined well to defeat Sylvester Emmanuel and Clifford Enosoregbe and take the men’s doubles title.

They won 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 in an entertaining encounter inside the sport Centre in the ancient city of Kano.

Imeh will star against Sylvester for the men’s singles title on Saturday.
