The Adewale Isa Foundation has opened up a fresh educational scholarship opportunity for tennis players, Nigeria Tennis Live has gathered.
The Foundation which organizes an annual national junior tennis championship, which is in its seventh year, disclosed that this scholarship opportunity is meant specifically for students who are in SS2 and SS3, and who will be participating in the tournament.
Alhaji Nurudeen Isa, one of the Directors at the Foundation, told Nigeria Tennis Live that the scholarship is only for four students, two in SS2 and two in SS3.

“We are excited to announce that four educational scholarships will be awarded to two SS2 and two SS3 students, starting this year.
“The scholarship is funded by one of our key supporters from the US and we are happy to bring this to junior tennis players, especially those who will be participating in our tournament.
“The idea is to help meet a few educational needs for some of these kids so that we can uplift some burden from their parents who cater to them day and night,” Alhaji Isa informed our correspondent.
Interested students are required to register their interest with Mr. Ayo Adetayo on WhatsApp at 09013231126 and they necessary details about the registration will be made available to them.
“The deadline for the registration of interest is 29 August, while confirmed recipients of the scholarship will be announced during the tournament,” he added.

The Adewale Isa Foundation Junior Tennis Tournament will hold inside the tennis section of the National Stadium, Surulere-Lagos, from 31 August to 5 September, 2026 and players from different clubs and associations across Nigeria are invited to register to participate in the event.
