Ahead of her first round match at the ongoing Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship in Kano, Oyinlomo Quadre has revealed how difficult winning the competition will be.

Quadre who won the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior tennis championship in June will be under pressure to repeat the same feat in the ancient city of Kano this week, and she reckons it would be a difficult task.

The Nigerian number three female tennis star noted that winning the Dala tournament would be as difficult as winning the CBN Open.

Asked if she thinks winning the tournament would be easier than the CBN Open, she replied Nigeria Tennis Live: “I think it will be as difficult as CBN.”

The African number four junior tennis player who’s battling a visa issue at the US Embassy to participate in the Orange Bowl Championship in the United States is also unperturbed by the denial, even though she’s already got another date at the Embassy for another interview.

She boldly told our correspondent that the visa denial is not enough to disturb her performance in Kano as she’s psychologically prepared for the competition.

“Well I am match warmed up due to the matches I played last week in the junior itf so I think that’s enough preparation.

“And yes, I am psychologically prepared for the competition,” the world 195 ranked player stated emphatically.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep tabs with the competition as it hits up in the city of Kano.
