Rainoil Tennis Open: Atseye Starts Title Defence Against Young Tennis Star
Henry Atseye will commence his title defence at the Rainoil Tennis Open Championship on Monday, 12 November, with his first match against Abayomi Philips, a budding tennis sensation.
Nigerian Tennis Live gathered that Atseye, who defeated Joseph Imeh in the 2017 edition of the competition holding at the Ikoyi Club 1938, will be playing against the youngster in the third match on the centre court.

Even though this year’s edition is not holding on clay court, the former national champion will be among the standout players to challenge for the N5.1m-rated tournament which promises to be more explosive.
Other top Nigerian stars, Joseph Imeh, Sylvester Emmanuel and the ageless Abdulmumin Babalola will also be in action during the weeklong event scheduled to climax this weekend at the tennis club.
Sarah Adegoke who defeated Blessing Samuel to clinch the first edition of the is also in action at the second to the last national tournament of the year as the players are expecting the Dala Hard Court Championship.
