Orange Bowl: Oyinlomo Set For Abuja ITF Circuit, May Play Dala Tourney As US Visa Issue Lingers

World’s number 222 ranked junior female tennis player, Oyinlomo Quadre, is most likely going to play the second leg of the Junior ITF Circuit presently taking place in Abuja.

Nigeria Tennis Live feelers have it that the youngster who was disappointed after being denied a US visa to play the Orange Bowl and Eddie Herr tournaments, will be in Abuja for the second leg of the junior tournament, and may possibly play the Dala Hard Court competition in Kano.

Quadre, rated as one of the best junior talents from Africa, was among the world junior players invited to play the competitions in the United States, but was denied visa by the US Embassy in Nigeria.

Nigeria Tennis Live has now gathered that the Morocco-based player will now return to Nigeria for the second leg of the Abuja competition, as well as seek a means of reapplying for the visa.

While she’s at it also, there are chances that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Open defending champion will play the fast approaching Dala Hard Court competition which takes center stage in Kano, immediately after the Junior ITF Circuit.

Tennis observers within and outside Nigeria were irked by her recent visa denial, but are hoping that she would bounce back stronger.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep tabs with the developments from the visa application and report to our teeming audience.
