NTUA Organizes First Ever Advantage All Workshop For Tennis Officials
The Nigeria Tennis Umpires Association (NTUA) is putting together a first-of-its-kind workshop for female tennis umpires in the country.
Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that the workshop named Advantage All Tennis Workshop is meant exclusively for Nigerian female officials in the country. The theme is: Tennis Officiating, Place Value Of Women In Officiating And Empowerment.
Rose Abu, the acting chairman of the tennis umpires association informed our correspondent that the event scheduled for 8:30am on Thursday, 6 June, 2024 inside the tennis section of the National Stadium, Abuja.

She also revealed the facilitators for the one-day workshop which is totally free for every intending participant.
“The four female white badges in Nigeria will be speaking on different subjects, there will be refreshers for the national umpires as well.
“The only former female Bronze Badge from Nigeria that now lives in US will also speak to us,” the widely-traveled Abu told Nigeria Tennis Live.
All female officials in Nigeria have been advised to attend the workshop which is expected to refresh their knowledge in officiating of tennis according to the best global practice.
