Omoile will be coaching in Dubai in the coming weeks |
One of Nigeria’s top tennis players, Samuel Omoile, has been invited to coach in Francis Clarke Tennis Academy in Dubai, UAE, Naija Tennis Special can report.
The player who dreams of becoming one of the top 500 tennis players in the world, disclosed that it was a rare privilege that he got from the Academy to which he never wrote any letter of application.
According to him, “they probably looked at my profile via the internet and were interested in me. I got the invitation afterwards and will definitely grant the request.”
When pressed further for details of the proposed trip to the UAE, Omoile explained that he plans to leave Nigeria early November and will remain with the Academy for as long as they need his services.
“Everything is set for the trip and all things being equal, I should be in Dubai in early November. I will definitely get paid for the services I’ll be rendering,” he explained.
This latest development, Omoile stated, means that he is likely to be unavailable if selected among the Nigerian players for the Abridged Governor’s Cup Lagos Tennis Championship slated for 17-22 November.
“I am not sure I’ll be around for the Governor’s Cup because I may have travelled to Dubai by then. The moment I get the visa for the trip, I’ll be out of the country,” he said.
