The all-conquering Team FCT has emerged as the winner of the tennis events at the National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
The boys from Nigeria’s Federal Capital won a total of three medals – two gold one silver – at the age-grade competition in Delta State.
Nigeria Tennis Live reports that the players won gold in boys doubles and singles in event. They also won bronze in the boys singles event to top the medals table in tennis.
Teams Delta and Lagos follow closely with one gold and one bronze medal each. Team Edo is the fourth team on the table with one gold medal.
The competition came to an end inside the tennis courts of the Asaba Grand Hotel on Thursday, 28 September, 2023, after a week of rigorous competition by the youngsters.
