Relentless and effervescent Mofifunoluwa Atilola, who recently clocked ten will have top U-14 player Bright Emmanuel, to face in one of the girls U-14 semifinal matches.
The Lagos Lawn Tennis Club girl will have to be at her very best against Bright, ranked number one in Nigeria on the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) ranking, and gold medalist at the recent National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
In the second girls 14 semifinal match Bright’s sister, Justina, will be up against fellow Apapa Tennis Club player, Ndifreke Benjamin as they look forward to an all-Apapa finale in the girls 14 & Unders category.
The other age categories will be starting on Friday, 3 November, 2023 as the MP Tiger competition, planned to help players prepare for the Dala Hard Court national championship gradually winds down.
