Lagos Open Tennis: Amazing Pictures That Show How Emotional Tennis Is

The first leg of the 2019 Lagos Open International Tennis Championship ended with Burundi’s Sada Nahimana and Calvin Hemery from France winning the women and men’s singles titles.

Even though the matches were delayed, rescheduled, canceled and postponed due to the incessant rainfall, the players ended up putting up outstanding performances which ended with an exciting finale on Monday, 14 October.

The players yelled, screamed, moaned, cried, kicked the air and pumped fists in series of emotional displays during the competition, but all of these are the ingredients that make tennis the game that it is.

Nigeria Tennis Live visited the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club venue of the competition and captured some of these unforgettable moments for our esteemed readers.
