The tennis section of the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, Lagos, will play host to the Rainoil Grandslam Tennis Championship, Nigeria Tennis Live has gathered.
According to Mr. John Nwosu, the Vice Chairman of the Lagos Country Club, the event will serve off on Monday, 4 March, 2024, as members of the club will take part in one of their annual flagship events.
In a chat with journalists during the media presentation of the competition, he said: “The Rainoil Grandslam Tennis Championship is one of our major championships at the Lagos Country Club, It has been ongoing for many years, and it is one of our top notch tournaments and we are looking forward to it.

“We have all categories participating. Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles. We also have the Veteran Singles and Doubles, then we have Super Veteran Singles and Doubles.
“We are going to have ladies’ matches as well. So, it will be two-three weeks of non-stop tennis action here.”
The event is sure to bring the tennis section of the Lagos Country Club alive for the period during which the competition will take place.
