Seun Ogunsakin has reacted after beating Spanish youngster, Saul Pacheco Benasayag, en route to winning his fourth J30 title in 2024.

The Tunisia-based Nigerian teenager was the number three seed at the J30 Bizerte event over the weekend and was clinical all week before capping it with a fine win.

Recall that Ogunsakin won the two legs of the J30 Abuja event early this year and won a J30 title on his return to Tunisia after a few weeks.

He has now added another feather to his cap after winning his fourth title in four finals he has played in 2024.

In a brief chat with Nigeria Tennis Live after the win, he noted that he never expected that he would have won four titles already this year because he was struggling with some injuries earlier.

“I feel very good about the result, you know. It’s good when you see good results when you go to tournaments. I am really happy with the way I am performing presently.

“Before the tournament started, I had like a small injury so I wasn’t sure I was going to perform this well. I believe the key is just for a person to believe in himself.

“Believe that you can do it, you know, never give up on yourself. I’m really happy with my performance. I hope to do much better next time,” Ogunsakin told our correspondent.

The youngster has started another week of ITF tournament as he is seeded four at the J60 Carthage event also holding in Tunisia.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep tabs on the players’ progress on the Junior ITF Circuit and report his development to our teeming followers.
