J30 Abuja: National U-16 Champion Oduwaye Set To Take On America’s Herraz

Ayomide Oduwaye, winner of the Rock Tennis Foundation national U-16 Championship, will be playing his first ITF event of the year when he takes on Mehdi Herraz from the USA at the J30 Abuja event.

Oduwaye defeated Henry Aina in a keenly contested match at the Abeokuta Sports Club in January, 2024, and will have to be at his very deadly best when he takes on the American on Wednesday morning.

The Nigerian is among a number of players seeking to ensure the ITF title is won by a local player despite the number of oppositions at the event.
