In what appeared like a revenge, Divine Nweke took her pound of flesh against Oyinlomo Quadre in the Singles final match at the just concluded ITF U-18 Junior Tennis Circuit in Benin Republic.

Nweke, a Danish player, defeated the Nigerian starlet in a match that dragged to the final set, winning 6-1, 3-6, 6-2, a result which is coming after Oyinlomo had defeated her to win the title in the third leg.

Gutted by her loss… Oyinlomo will seek to get even better in the coming weeks.

Nigerian Tennis Live‘s earlier report revealed that the youngster who was playing her third ITF Junior Circuit final in four weeks, had won two and had taken the team event too on two different occasions.

With this result, Oyinlomo will seem disappointed, but will take the positives from playing in four consecutive World Junior ITF Circuits where she proved to be the best player through out the duration of the tournament.

All things being equal, her attention will be shifting to the Lagos Open International Tennis Championships, where she will be hoping to show how much she has improved from the previous edition of the tournament.

Nigerian Tennis Live will keep monitoring the player’s development as she seeks to continue to get better with her tennis.
