Italian Varsity Scholarship Tourney: Organizers Set Registration Deadline
The organizers of the junior tournament to help facilitate scholarship for Nigerian players into an Italian University, have set a registration deadline.
Nigeria Tennis Live had reported a few days ago, that the Kones Tennis Cafe, a project run by Ms. Crystal Nzewi, is planning to help Nigerian players gain scholarship into the Rome City Institute.
The scholarship, our correspondent had reported, will be concluded after a junior tournament scheduled to hold from 22-24 December at the Italian International School, Lekki, Lagos.
After the initial report, a number of Nigerian players and coaches had shown interest in participating in the tournament and had followed the instructions to register for the event.
As at Monday, 11 December, 2023, Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that a number of players had already sent a mail to the designated e-mail address for registration.

This was confirmed by Ms. Nzewi in a brief chat with our correspondent who also noted that the deadline for registration has now be set for would be participants at the event.
“The deadline for the registration is this Sunday (17 December, 2023),” she said during the chat.
Nigerian players who are interested and believe they have what it takes to participate in the competition are still encouraged to register for the event.
