The HST Tennis Academy has announced an invitational tournament for tennis players in private schools within Lagos State, Nigeria Tennis Live has learnt.
The one-day competition is scheduled to hold inside the tennis section of the Italian International School, Lekki Phase 1 on Friday, 24 November, 2023.
According to information made available to Nigeria Tennis Live, schools from within Lekki and its environs are scheduled to participate in the tournament which is slated to run from 10am-3pm.
“We already have some schools that have indicated their interest to participate in the competition because it’s not a really big event,” Coach Henry Shadrach told our correspondent about the tournament.

“However, we are hopeful that more schools who are interested can join us. The deadline for registration is Monday, 20 November, 2023,” he explained further.
This competition is a collaboration of the HST Academy and the Italian International School and is coordinated by the HST Academy.
As at the time of filing this report, about 12 schools had already registered to participate in the one-day competition.
“We intend to award every school that participates, as well as medals. But the winners will get the trophies for their efforts,” Coach Shedrach added.
