Nigeria’s consistency at the recently concluded Junior ITF Circuit in Benin Republic and Togo earned the team their deserved podium place finish at the end of the three-week long tournament.
Prior to the tournament, the likes of Oyinlomo Quadri, Adetayo Adetunji and Christopher Bulus had been tipped to raise the nation’s flag high at the West African countries, especially since the competition involved players from other parts of the world.
While Adetunji and Bulus lived up to their pre-tournament billing, Oyinlomo could not go past the quarter final stage in each of the three legs, which all but crashed her ranking points and dropped her rating on the continent.
The players as well as their coach, gave a good account of themselves in the West African region and every moment spent across the tournaments were captured by our reliable sources in Togo.
