Over the years, tennis enthusiasts have asked to know the number of tennis players in Nigeria, especially since most of these players participate in national events.
While the names are mostly made public via the rankings, they’re not easily registered on the minds of Nigerians that the rankings represent the list of players who register for events per time.
Unfortunately, it has been difficult to register more players on the national competitions since the end of May when the last of the three national tournaments – the CBN Open – ended in Abuja.

However, it is important to put this out there for the sake of those who desire to know if their names are on the list of Nigerian Tennis Players or not.
Also, Nigeria Tennis Live will do a regular update of the list as new members are added to the list of players who register to play national tournaments in the country.
There are 81 registered names of the male players while the ladies have a total of 51 names.
