Smarting from their impressive performances at the Dala Hard Tennis Championship in Kano State, Khadijat Mohammed and David John have climbed the national ranking ladder.
Khadijat, one of the Wild Card entrants at the recently-concluded event, won the competition for the first time ever, as she was unarguably the star of the tournament.
After the feat, the teenage sensation who has been one of Nigeria’s top female juniors, has been rewarded with a top three placing on the national ranking released by the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF).
Barring any other national tournament holding before the end of the year, the youngster will end 2023 among the top five senior national female players.
