The facilitator of the competition, Alade Ademola, a Bet9ja Super Agent in Oshodi-Isolo area, spoke with Nigeria Tennis Live on why he decided to play host to the players.
He noted that having done the same tournaments for other sports, it was best to shift attention to tennis because he also plays the beautiful game.
“And we are always looking at making it an annual event.
“Conveniently, this is my fourth edition, I have been doing this for other sports but we decided to take it to tennis and we believe this can be a continuous event.
“We just want to encourage these youths and give them hope, and the belief that they can still get something out of the country, regardless of the situation of things,” Mr. Ademola explained.
