Nigeria’s ageless tennis superstar, Abdulmumin Babalola, is among local and ‘foreign’ coaches to have registered for the PTR certification courses for 10 & Under Level 1 and 11-17 Years Level 1 which will hold at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Nigerian Tennis Live had reported that certified Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) tester, Coach Abel Ubiebi is organizing the training session for coaches who have the dreams of having the certification without leaving the shores of Nigeria.

Abdulmumin Babalola is gradually metamorphosing into becoming a top coach after being relevant to Nigerian tennis as a player for over one decade.

The training which is scheduled to start on Sunday, December 17, has already attracted coaches from within and outside the country, among whom we have Nigeria’s tennis star player, Babalola.

According to information made available to Nigerian Tennis Live, about 15 coaches; three Ghanaians and 12 Nigerians have already indicated their interest in getting this certificate from the top Nigerian coach.

Some of the coaches who have registered include Umaru Balami, Samuel Appiah (Ghana), Hilda Addiquaye (Ghana), Fuad Quadri, Akor Matthew, Gbadamosi Babatunde and Samuel Biodun.

Others include Bathlomen Joseph, Peter Naan Pius, Grace Aderonke Osho, Umoh Augustina among several others who have already registered for the training.

The training is scheduled to hold from 17-22 December, 2017 at the tennis section of the National Stadium in Surulere with attendees paying a minimum of $350 for one of the certifications while a payment of $420 is expected for anyone interested in both certificates.
Nigerian Tennis Live will monitor the developments from the training and keep our readers posted as things unfold.
