The Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) has for the umpteenth time, reminded tennis players interested in participating at the 2018 Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior Tennis Open, that the tournament will be hosted in Abuja, the nation’s federal capital.
One of the requests by the sponsors of the tournament was to have it staged in Abuja, to herald the 40th year of hosting one of Nigeria’s most consistent tennis tournaments, and this had already been included in the NTF’s calendar for 2018.
Following the release of a date for the commencement of the annual championship, some Nigerian tennis players and other stakeholders sought to know the venue of the annual tournament, if it would still hold in Lagos as many wanted or in Abuja, as earlier announced.
