Like Ogunsakin, Goodluck Tersoo is maintaining his pre-tournament hype as one of the youngsters to realign Nigerian tennis with what is obtainable on the global stage.

In the Boys’ U-14 event, the Benue-born player who recently won the Adewale Isa Foundation Tennis Championship and Gbolahan Odele Tennis events in Lagos, keeps holding sway and keeps proving to be the player to beat.

The Ekiti-born Festus took a set off Tersoo, a development which spurred the Abuja-based player to life and this may have propelled him to go all out and win in the two remaining sets.

As the SAPETRO Futures Tennis event peaks at the National Stadium on Thursday, all the semifinalists will be determined via the last set of matches while the semifinal and final matches will move to Ikoyi Club on Friday and Saturday.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep all our readers updated on the results from the event and every development that needs to be made available.
