Tennis Umpires Set To Elect New Excos As Abuja AGM Gets Date

The Nigeria Tennis Umpires Association (NTUA) is set to hold her 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM), from which new executive members will be elected.

The event is scheduled to start by 9am on Saturday, 2 November, 2024, inside the tennis section of the Package B of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Chukwunonso Nwabueze, the NTUA Public Relations Officer also shared a list of the nominees and their intending posts with Nigeria Tennis Live ahead of the all-important AGM.

According to Nwabueze, no fewer than 50 tennis umpires “from across the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory are expected to be in attendance”.

Below is a list of the nominees and the posts they are vying for as published by the NTUA election Returning Officer, Joe Edili, ahead of the Annual General Meeting this weekend:

                  The election will be preceded by the Association’s Annual General Meeting scheduled to hold at the Package B Section of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja on Saturday 2 November, 2024.

                  The meeting will also provide the much needed opportunity for the outgoing Acting Chairman of the Association, Mrs. Rose Abu, to render an account of stewardship to the current excos.
