    2nd Azimuth Junior Tourney: Rivers, Plateau, Oyo, Ogun Top States With Expected Players, As Organizers Set Arrival Deadline

    No fewer than twelve states will have players represented at the second edition of the Azimuth Shipping Junior Tennis Tournament holding in Lagos, Nigeria Tennis Live can report.

    Reports reaching us have it that Rivers, Kogi, Akwa Ibom, Lagos, Oyo, Ogun Ekiti, Taraba, Plateau, Abuja, Ondo and Osun states will have players represented at the annual competition.

    The tournament which rewards winners with educational grants among other fabulous prizes, will kick off on Monday 21 January but players have been asked to (without fail) arrive on Sunday, 20 January.

    According to the organizers, the event kicks off on Sunday with the arrival and draws later in the day.

    “Arrival is now on Sunday and draws will be held same evening.

    “To further manage others time, the U-12s, 14s and 16s will start on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

    “Thursday will be quarter final and Friday semi final. All the other matches will be played at the National Stadium while the final will be held at the VGC Club and the eventual winners will get their prizes,” one of the organizers told Nigeria Tennis Live.
