Seun Ogunsakin, Nigeria’s precocious tennis talent, is currently making waves at the J100 event in Florida, Nigeria Tennis Live has gathered.
The Ekiti-born tennis sensation is currently the highest ranked Nigerian player on the junior ITF and is bossing it in Florida, venue of the Junior ITF event.
The tournament’s number two seed has won two matches in the 64-draw competition which features some of the best tennis talents across the globe, and is set to reach the quarterfinals of the competition.

Fresh from winning the African U-16 Championship in Cairo Egypt, the 16-year-old player defeated two American players en route to reaching the third round of the tournament. After beating Joaquin Blanco 6-1, 6-3, Ogunsakin spanked Colter Amey with the same scoreline.

He will now face Matthew Shapiro, the competition’s number 16 seed, for a spot in the quarterfinals of the highly-rated event in the United States.
