Nigeria’s Lucky Danjuma is now among the top 500-ranked junior players on the Junior ITF rankings after his impeccable performance in Ghana.

The Nigerian teenager won two Junior ITF titles in quick succession, and broke into the top 500 in the world, 27th in Africa and 4th in Nigeria.

Danjuma had defeated Australia’s Aadithya Pai in two straight sets of 7-5, 6-4 when the pair squared up against each other in the final of the first leg of the J30 Accra event in Ghana but was made to fight all the way during the final of the second leg.
