Toyin Asogba has spoken about being included in the Nigerian team to participate at the Billie Jean King Cup event in Nairobi, Kenya.

The athlete who left the country to train and play tournaments in France was included in the team as announced by Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) and published by Nigeria Tennis Live.

And since this was the first time she was listed to participate in the competition, the reaction from her family to the announcement was quite ecstatic.

Asogba told Nigeria Tennis Live that her dad, particularly, broke down in tears after seeing her name on the list, asking her not to joke with him.
