    David Ekpenyong Closes Up On Top 200 In World Rankings

    Amazing Nigerian tennis teenager, David Ekpenyong, is close to ranking among the top 200 players in the world.

    Nigeria Tennis Live checks revealed that the youngster, who was a losing finalist at the J100 event in Quebec, Canada last week, is moving up the rankings which was released on Monday, 25 September, 2023.

    From his initial 304 ranking spot, the Nigerian number one male tennis player is now ranked 269 in the world, and is just some points shy of bursting into the top 200 in the world.

    Ekpenyong keeps rising in stock with tennis following his consistency over the years and his recent trips across the world to participate in tennis championships.

    The 17-year-old player is also expected in Ghana for the Junior ITF events, where he’ll be competing against some of the best talents around.

    Nigerians will be rooting for the youngster who seems like the next big thing in Nigerian tennis in the last few years.
