Seun and Seyi Ogunshakin will be flying the flag of Ekiti State at the forthcoming National Youth Games in Ilorin, when the event kicks off in October, Nigeria Tennis Live can report.

The Ogunshakin brothers have been prominent in national competitions in Nigeria for some years now, and have been quite dominant on the local scene.

They will be favourites at the championship, as many of the youngsters will be wary of them, especially those who have come up against them in recent past.

While the Ogunshakin brothers will be representing the boys from Ekiti State, Esther Oni and Success Ogunjobi will represent the female folks from Ekiti State.

The players will want to consolidate on their impressive showing at the last edition of the event in 2019, and prove their recent dominance in the junior cadre of tennis in the country.

In the same vein, after a series of trials, the Lagos State Tennis Association has also released the names of players who will represent the state at the National Youth Games tournament.

Coach Seyi, one of the coaches in Lagos State, informed our correspondent that Michael Nekekpemi and Happy Agbi will be representing the state in the boys’ category while Sunmisola Okajare and Justina Emmanuel will be the female representatives.
