The Nigerian tennis team to the ongoing Africa Beach Games will want to ride on their current winning momentum to secure another at the event.
Nigeria Tennis Live reports that the team secured a hard fought victory against hosts Cape Verde in the final set of their second match, having lost the first match against Morocco.
The victory for the Nigerian side was their first ever in the tennis event of the Africa Beach Games which is holding for the very first time.
To battle Algeria’s pair of Hanine Boudjadi and Amina Ahlem are Samuel Blessing and Christie Agugbom who are arguably Nigeria’s most experienced female tennis players on the circuit.
The match, our correspondent gathered, will kick off 3pm Nigerian time, and Nigeria Tennis Live will be on hand to monitor proceedings from the encounter.
