After series of training by the Nigerian contingent to the Davis Cup, the players have landed in Cairo, the Egyptian capital city.
Pictures obtained by Naija Tennis Special showed coach Benson Ishicheli, Abdul-Mumuni Babalola, Clifford Enosoregbe, Joseph Imeh and Sylvester Emmanuel in the land of the pyramids.

Coach Benson had ahead of the competition, told our correspondent that the players were already in high spirits int raining and promised that all things being equal, the country will put up a commanding performance in Egypt.
“With the players’ response to training and their consistency, I see the, flying the country’s flag really high in Egypt.

“Sylvester had been training well in Barcelona, Spain prior to the championship and his recent performances and exposure will come in handy for the team as other players are also fresh from one championship or the other,” the Lagos-based national coach affirmed.
Nigeria will be hoping to advance from the World Team Cup’s group three to a more respected placing as she has remained in the same group for so many years following poor performances in the team competition.
