Sylvester Has The Potentials Of A Top 100 Player – Barcelona Trainer

Nigeria’s number male tennis player, Sylvester Emmanuel, has been given the go ahead to conquer the world and reign among the top 100 best tennis players in the world because his potentials can reach that level.

This was the submission of Pere Riba, one of the Spanish coaches who are handling the Nigerian player in Barcelona where the 19-year-old tennis star has been training and playing tournaments for some months now.

In an exclusive chat with Nigerian Tennis Live on the development of the Nigerian player so far, Riba noted with excitement, how much of a talent the former Dala Hard Court Open winner is and what he could achieve in the coming years if he remains injury-free.

Sylvester Emmanuel is being presently groomed to become one of Africa’s finest…

“Sylvester is improving a lot even though you may not see this in the ranking. Sadly, he came in and was injured in the process.

“If the injury is not there, he will return here next year with a better ranking, to show the world how much of a better player he has become.

“He trains really hard and knows that everyone has to work really hard in Spain; that’s our philosophy over there,” Riba noted.

When asked how much potentials the Nigerian star player possesses, the Barcelona-based instructor stated amid smiles that: “If the injury is not there and if he continues with his consistency, he has the potentials of a top 200 player and why not top 100?

“But there has to be a level of consistency in his game and the tournaments as well as the facilities which he needs to train with to get to that level. Regardless of all of these, though, he is such a great player.”
