Nigeria’s Christopher Bulus has cracked top 1000 in the world tennis rankings after his recent outstanding performance at the W15 Vaasa in Finland.
The sensational Nigerian tennis star who played consecutive quarterfinal and semifinal matches in Spain and Finland was recently ranked 1020 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
However, the ‘Road to Turin’ ATP rankings show that the Davis Cup helmsman is even ahead on the log so much that the Nigerian has now cracked the top 1000 in the world for the first time ever.

The ‘Road to Turin’ rankings indicate the eight Singles players that qualify for the NITTO ATP Finals in Turin later in the year.
And the live updates indicate the players’ rankings as they move towards being invited to the event, hence, the upward movement of the Nigerian tennis player.

As at the time of putting this report together, Bulus’s ranking stood at 970 in the world, an indication of how far the Nigerian tennis star had come in recent weeks.
The M15 Xativa quarterfinalist is currently in Tunisia, where he will be participating in his second week at the M15 Monastir event after failing to win in his first match.
