Nigeria Tennis Live can report that the organizers of the annual Rainoil Tennis Open Championship will be splashing about N5.1million on the winners of the competition.
The tournament which is in its third year is one of the most anticipated events of the year end which players compete on clay in Lagos.
Joseph Imeh and Henry Atseye are the only Nigerian players to have played the finals of the competition and have both shared the top prize between them.
For this year’s edition, Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that the prize money for the winners of the competition stands at N5.1million only.
The press briefing to herald the commencement of the competition was held on Tuesday, 26 November, at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, Lagos, venue of the annual tournament.
