Rainoil Tennis: After Overpowering Timibra, Imeh Faces Tough Idoko Match As Sylvester Seeks 1st Ever Final Berth
Defending champion of the ongoing Rainoil Tennis Open Championship, Joseph Imeh, is plotting the downfall of Emmanuel Idoko in a bid to reach his third consecutive final in the competition.
Imeh, Nigeria’s number two player, is almost a sure bet to become the first Nigerian player to play in all the finals of the Rainoil tournament since its inception if he manages to defeat the Davis Cup Star.
He proved to be tougher than Godsgift Timibra in their quarterfinal pairing, and will seek to further continue his impressive performance in the semis.
Sylvester Emmanuel, the Nigerian number one, is also in for a really tough time when he takes on impressive Michael Chima as he looks to make it to the final of the Rainoil championship for the first time ever.
The former Barcelona, Spain-based Nigerian Star has also been in devastating form all week, in a bid to wrestle the national title from his friend and compatriot, Imeh.
Both Imeh and Sylvester, if they make it to the final, will be playing their second consecutive finals against each other, having both contested the Dala Hard Court competition in Kano a few weeks ago.
Nigeria Tennis Live will bring all the excitements and drama from the competition as it climaxes this weekend.
