Players Left Frustrated As Rainfall Disrupts Activities At CBN Open Preliminaries Kick Off In Abuja (Photos)
Tennis players have been left frustrated following the heavy downpour witnessed inside the Tennis Section of the National Stadium, Abuja, venue of this year’s Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior Tennis Open.
Photos obtained by Nigeria Tennis Live showed that the players had to abandon the courts as the tournament’s qualifying rounds had to be kept on hold.
The players looked dejected as their morale appeared to have dropped following the delay in their matches.
The tournament’s main draw kicks off on Monday, 24 June, with top Nigerian tennis stars expected to be on parade as they fight for honors.
