Over 250 Players Across Nigeria, Europe Land In Lagos For Azimuth Juniors
Nigeria Tennis Live can report that more than 250 players from different states across Nigeria and France are currently in Lagos for the Azimuth Shipping Lines Junior Tennis Championship.
The players from France, Kano, Jigawa, Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Anambra, Imo, Borno, Benue, Niger, FCT, Ogun, among other States started arriving Lagos, Nigeria, for the tournament dubbed the biggest junior in the country, on Sunday, 14 January, 2024.
As at Tuesday morning, players from Benue State and some of those who participated in the ITF/CAT West & Central African Junior Tennis Championship joined the tournament.

The players from Benue spent about two days on the road and just arrived on Tuesday morning, following troubles to their vehicle while in transit.
While this report was being compiled, a new set of players were seen strolling into the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan, Lagos, venue of the ongoing championship, as the number of participants keeps swelling.
Matches already served off on Monday afternoon, with the U-12 players slugging it out on the courts with some fantastic tennis display.
The other matches will serve off this morning as the competition gets into full swing with other age categories joining the U-12 players who started playing on Monday morning.
Nigeria Tennis Live also gathered that France-based Jade Nzewi is in town for the tournament as he prepares for a trilogy of junior championships in Africa.
