Over 20 Youths Participate In ITF Entry Level Officiating Course In Abuja (Photos)

Over 20 youths gathered at the tennis section of the National Stadium over the weekend for an International Tennis Federation (ITF) level 1 officiating course.

Information made available to Nigerian Tennis Live has it that the training organized by the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) seeks to improve capacity for credible officiating in Nigerian tennis, especially for those who are passionate about the game.

The event took place from Thursday to Saturday, 22 – 25 March, 2018 and the newly trained officials will be expected to officiate in tournaments in Abuja and beyond whenever the need arises.

They will also be expected to participate in follow up courses if and when any such opportunity becomes available.
