Bolaji Olawepo, one of Nigeria’s coaches at the Clarke Francis Tennis Academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been recognized for his contribution to tennis in the Middle East country.
Olawepo, who has been in Dubai since late last year alongside Kehinde Alade and Samuel Omoile, shared this piece of information on his Facebook page with the certificate of recognition by the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, noting that “profile upgrading mehn… na God”.

The player, who was based in Lagos before travelling to Dubai under a partnership agreement between the highly-rated tennis academy and Nigeria’s International Tennis Academy, ITA, expressed his delight at clinching what looked like his first award outside the country.
The award read, “Dubai Duty Free is pleased to award this Certificate of Appreciation to Bolaji Olawepo in recognition of your invaluable contribution to the success of Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship 2015”.

While also stating his readiness to work really hard for more accolades, the Nigerian coach said: “Thanks to everybody who wished me well. This is just the beginning. I dedicated it to the African team after receiving the award and I am sure that if I keep working hard, there are many more awards coming my way”.
