    Ogunsakin, Udoffa Top List Of Players For Kaduna Clay Court Tourney

    Seun Ogunsakin from Ekiti state and Kogi-born Mary Udoffa are among the top stars who will be featuring at the Kaduna Clay Court National Junior Tennis Championship which kicks off today.

    Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that these players are among over 120 others who registered to fight for honours in the revived clay court event.

    Coach Mohammed Ubale, the tournament director, informed our correspondent that Ogunsakin and Udoffa are among players from 21 states across the Federation, and some had arrived Kaduna since Sunday.

    “Over 120 players (have registered) and in the 14 & under, we going to have 64 draw because of the large turn out.

    “We have 21 states that have registered.

    “States that are already here in Kaduna (as at Sunday): Oyo, Lagos, Adamawa, Benue, Nasarawa, Kano, Katsina, Plateau, Kebbi.

    “They here because they want to get used to the court which is Clay court and it’s a very slippery surface,” Ubale explained to Nigeria Tennis Live.

    He also issued an official information to all participating states.

    INFORMATION TO ALL PARTICIPATING STATES.
    PLEASE NOTE THAT:

    1. MEETING WITH COACHES IS SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY 23RD NOV, 2020, TIME : 2PM.
    2. DRAW WILL WILL BE CONDUCTED BY 4PM.
    3. PLAY WILL COMMENCE ON TUESDAY, 24 NOVEMBER BY 8AM WITH THE B14 & U CATEGORY.
    4. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN LINE WITH THE LETTER SENT TO ALL STATE, THE ORGANIZER WILL CATER FOR FOUR (4) PLAYERS AND ONE (1) COACH ONLY FROM EACH PARTICIPATING STATE
      ADDITIONAL PLAYERS IF ACCEPTED INTO THE DRAW WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARTICIPATING STATE/TEAM.
