NTF Election: I Was Manipulated But I Have The Bigger Victory – Kienka

After his rather controversial disqualification from contesting the post of Niger Tennis Federation (NTF) president in Tuesday, June 3 election, Godwin Kienka has made some stunning revelations.

In a chat with Naija Tennis Special, the director of the International Tennis Academy (ITA), who was said to have been disallowed from being elected into the board of Nigeria’s highest tennis body, noted that he was unjustly manipulated out of the race.

Godwin Kienka says he was manipulated out of the race but he still has the bigger victory.

He had expressed confidence prior to the election, stating categorically that our correspondent should wait for the election day to know who will come out tops in the polls.

But to our greatest surprise, Kienka was not even allowed to contest the election, let alone come out tops in the polls.

When Naija Tennis Special contacted him after the election results were announced on Tuesday, he said: “I was manipulated out of the race.

“Maybe it’s because I was not a member of the electoral board, the technocrats found a way to disqualify me.”

He added: “We won the war but lost the battle… I have a bigger victory, so it’s still fine!”
