Nigeria Tennis Live correspondent also gathered that the former ACES Tennis Academy, Lagos Star who is ranked third nationally, is said to boast an amazing 13-2 record in singles and 11-4 in doubles play for his University.

The Gulf South Conference also informed on its website, that the former student of New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) has held down the No. 1 singles spot for the Tigers in all 15 matches this season, thereby justifying his place as the indisputable player of the year.

With this award, Bulus became the first ever UWA player to earn the league’s top individual honor, a feat which was hugely celebrated in the institution.

The young man seems to be acquainted with record breaking feats, especially since he moved to the United States of America a few years ago.

Recall that he was also outstanding at the New Mexico Military Institute, where he won a tournament for them for the first time in their region for 28 years.

Bulus won his singles and doubles games to give NMMI their first win in the region after 28 years, a feat ensured that they qualified for the nationals again.
