    Nigeria’s Adeleye Cracks Top 500 In World Rankings

    Daniel Adeleye has continued to remain consistent on the junior ITF rankings as he keeps climbing up the ladder with his participation in junior tournaments.

    The Nigerian no 21 ranked player has been in Accra, Ghana, for some weeks now, where he has been participating in Junior ITF tournaments.

    Despite the fact that he played lower grades of the ITF events in Ghana, Adeleye reached his highest stage during the second J100 event when he played to the semis.

    And in the recently released Junior ITF rankings, Adeleye has sneaked into the top 500 players world ranking, and now ranks 475 in the world.

    Despite the semis loss, he moved 68 places on the ladder and is now closing up on top 300/400 in the world as he continues to impress in tournaments he has been competing in.

    Meanwhile, David Ekpenyong who won the J100 event in Ghana, has moved about 41 places up the rankings and is now rated 216 in the world.

    The Nigerian number one who recently spoke with Nigeria Tennis Live, revealed that he will be moving to America for more tennis tournaments as he continues his tennis development.
