Nigerian Tennis Coaches Can Now Get US-Certified Coaching Certificate In Nigeria
The dreams and aspirations of Nigerian tennis coaches to have US-certified coaching certificate has been made easy, Nigeria Tennis Live can authoritatively report.
According to information made available to our correspondent, tennis coaches can now have their PTR Coaches Certification Course in Nigeria.
The coaching course which comes at a fee of $420 will be coordinated by Coach Abel Ubiebi, a certified PTR tester in Nigeria and the West Africa coordinator.
Nigeria Tennis Live understands that the coaching course will commence on 25 March and run through 30 March at the tennis section of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Coach Abel as the ace junior tennis coach is fondly called, stated that there will be two courses; 10 Under Level 1 and 11-17 Years Level 1.
On why coaches should seize this opportunity, he explained further that: “The course will prepare the coaches to have good knowledge of creating better foundation for players from their younger age.
“It will also enable the coaches to understand the progression of players improvement and path to winning in young players.
“It will enable the coaches to have a pattern teaching progression for better understanding of their lessons
“It enable the coaches to understand how to handle: coaches/parents/players relationship.”
Nigeria Tennis Live gathered also, that PTR has certified over 100 coaches in Nigeria, some of whom are now pro coaches abroad.
Interested coaches have been given the deadline of 10 March to register for the weeklong event.
