Nigerian tennis legends, Nduka Odizor and Rolake Olagbegi will be in Akure, the Ondo state capital, for a tennis clinic, Naija Tennis Special can report.
The US-based former Nigerian tennis stars are expected to drill some tennis players on the latest skills in the sport as well as help build the sport in the state.
The pair are among Nigeria’s greatest tennis stars in an era considered to be golden in Nigerian tennis history, and having both played and lived in the United States, their reservoir of knowledge will surely come in handy for the upcoming players.

While Rolake is already in the country, Odizor is expected to land any time soon to aid the training of the youngsters for the clinic organized by the first lady of Ondo state, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu.
The tennis clinic is expected to run for a minimum of five days to engage the players and keep them busy during the holiday season.
One of the coaches expected to drill the players is respected wheelchair tennis trainer, Kayode Savage, who will storm the Ondo state capital on Saturday to participate in the transfer of knowledge to the upcoming players.
Coach KK as he is fondly called, has been the personal coach to MaryLove Edwards, Nigeria’s prodigiously talented tennis player, and his wealth of experience will be brought to the table during the clinic.
