Thomas Otu, Musa Bala, Oyinlomo Quadri, Omolade Bamidele, Patience Onebamhoin and Augustine Stephen are expected to light up this weekend’s NCC Tennis League ties taking place in Abuja, Kaduna and Ilorin.
In Abuja, Former National champion, Thomas Otu, representing Team Ndoma-Egba is expected to have his hands full against hard fighting Musa Bala of Team Tech Vibe of Jos with the women’s singles match between Anu Aiyegbusi of the host team and Christie Nwankwo of Tech Vibe also holding a lot of promise.

Two very promising junior players, Oyinlomo Quadri and Omolade Bamidele are expected to provide the high point of the tie between Team Offikwu and Team Yetade at the Murtala Square, Kaduna.
Team Offikwu, the defending champions will be without their ace player, Sylvester Emmanuel, who is abroad playing ATP Circuit tournaments.
At the Kwara Stadium venue in Ilorin, Team Goshen, in contention for a semifinal place, will have the very ambitious youngsters of the CBN Futures team to contend with.
Although the CBN Futures team will be without lead player Marylove Edwards who has gone abroad to pursue her professional tennis career, the team has found a replacement in Toyin Asogba.
Asogba who says she is ready to fill petite Edwards big shoes will have to prove herself against Patience Onebamhoin, the lead female player of the Ilorin based team.
All the matches at the three venues are scheduled to start at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday.
