    NCC Tennis League: Organisers Reveal Commencement Date For 2019 Season

    The organizers of the annual Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) have revealed the commencement fate for the 2019 edition of the NCC Tennis League.

    In a chat with Nigeria Tennis Live over the weekend, Mr. Godwin Kienka, the Director of International Tennis Academy (ITA), which is the body responsible for the organization of the tournament, it was gathered that plans are in place to have the competition kick off some time around April.

    According to him, everything about Nigeria’s elections would have been concluded at this time and there would be no worry over safety of venue for the players and officials.

    “We want to start early this year, so we are targeting April/May.

    “We want the election to end before we start anything so that there won’t be worries over the safety of players and officials as they will have to travel from one part of the country to another,” Kienka informed our correspondent.

    Recall that Team Tech Vibe shocked tennis followers and enthusiasts in the country to win the 2018 edition of the competition as the trend continues for every year to produce a different winner.

    Nigeria Tennis Live will keep tabs with the organizers of the tournament to report every update building up to the competition.
